  1. -unfair diversification (in developing countries:extreme differences between poor and rich people))
-older people often can’t adapt to the new situation (in western industrial countries many wage earners become unemployed)
-focus just on economy not on human rights, environmentalism and democracy
(very liberal economic policy especially of USAis often critisized)
-developing countries often don’t take part in important decisions which affect the whole world (like G8)

  2. hm..Pia said almost everything, so I can only add:
-countries loose their culture (you can buy/see everything everywhere!)
-transport of goods over the whole world(=> enviroment!)
-capitalism (although that's almost the same as pia said..)

  3. Once again I agree with what Pia and Anna had to say. The only thing I can think of is that a lot of countries lose a lot of their natural resources which could also hurt their economy.

  5. I agree with nearly all points instead of one.
I disagree that countries loose their culture when you can buy and see everything everywhere.

  6. why do you all disagree?? i think the piont is rather obvious! Who is still listening to traditional music or is still wearing traditional clothes (not that I#d like to do that! ; ))? everywhere we have the same music, the same culture...?! uniform...

  7. i also disagree with you anna.i think it's more the fact that the time has changed than a negative effect of globalization

  8. Globalization bring negativities in the human rights perspective. The wage for workers in parts of the world like Taiwan, Indonesia, India, and China are relatively insignificant compared to the rest of the world. fact: 1/3 of the world lives under a $1 a day.
