  1. I think you should buy locally. There is less ecological damage because of briefer routes of transport. And in my opinion fresh fruite tastes better and there is no need of fruit harvesting before the fruites are riped.I also think that local farmers should be supported.

  2. I completely agree whith what Pia says! I can only add, that buying locally is much more faire when we think of poor african countries where they sell all the food they produce. Rich people of course can profit by this, but the larger part of the population suffers! Hunger is, still, a serious problem!

  3. I agree with Anna and Pia. I think we should buy locally because it can stop a lot of pollution without so much transportation. Also it can help with a lot of poor countries who are producing these resources and just selling them instead of using them for themselves..There is so much that can be said about buying locally and how it can help several countries...

  4. Exactly, i agree with both Pia and Anna. other counteries are suffering from hunger and alot other things, and for us to help them out and have them have a hope from counterries around we need to buy locally.

  5. I agree with all.
And I think one of the most important aspects against 'Buying Globally' is the destruction of the environment. There's a very high airpollution because of the means of transport that transport the goods.

well you know what... if you look at it from the economic point of view, i would definitely buy 'globally',the product costs less and we help foreign countrie develop and decrease their unemployment rate. Buying locally would increase the price of particular goods... and then we will be complaining. In the environment point of view... locally would be ideal. No pollution of transportation and local farmers will be benifited.

  7. i totally agree with the one and only HUGO.... i agree because if you buy 'globally" it would help those poor countries economy go up. At least thats what i think... If the USA buys goods from another country that's poor that's actually good for the poor country...
